I've redrawn her face and added a quick shadow under the log.
I've probably already slapped on too much paint. My excuse is that the reference photo is quite dark. I'm a bit worried about the foreground because the flash on my camera removed all the shadows on the figure and fallen tree. I'm having to guess a bit.
Not only am I pretty inexperienced with watercolours, I absolutely do not do landscape painting. I'm finding working on this to be a scary experience.

I adjusted the colour afterwards, purely for the print, the colours are a lot more warm compared to the original photo.
