Hi all! I still log in several times a week to do my duties on the four groups that I admin for ... well, run basically as all the other admins are no longer available. Three of my groups are traditional art groups for graphite pencil art - yes, I must be very antiquated to celebrate this art form so ardently in three groups. Each group has their submission rules and keeping up standards is important. I recently was expected to evaluate a submission that I couldn't even see as the artist had set it so that you have to subscribe to view it! Flipping cheek, I thought - I'm not paying to view his work! And I left a PRIVATE rude comment for him with an implied swear word with several letters missing. I was cross and unnecessarily rude. In hindsight, my reaction was too strong and I'm sorry for that. Anyway, he left a note on my page informing me that he was reporting me and going to get me banned. After all my many years on deviantART and fairly behaving myself most of the time, it

Just a little something to explain why I've not been so active, or rather, visibly active. I have still been trying to keep up my admin duties on my four groups (but not as often as I should). My son, Sean, died 8th September 2017 and the grieving process has been very hard - I've found it difficult to do the things that brought me joy in life, such as creating my art. My landline packed up around the same time as I lost my son, meaning I lost my broadband at the same time. I carried on paying for both services just because I didn't want to let anyone into my house, including engineers to fix the faults. I've been just coasting since then. On Friday 13th August (this year), I was made redundant and this has been a bit of a wake up call on me. Yep - I've let those BT engineers in and bugged the hell out of some very helpful advisors at EE until I got my broadband sorted. It's been a stressful couple of weeks wondering how to get it all sorted in time for online job interviews. I've

What a nightmare! Somehow, deviantart allowed a hacker to change the email  address associated with my account, and then the hacker was able to request a new password ... and before I could do anything to stop it, I had lost my account to a hacker. It took almost a week to prove my identity and to get my account back. It was fortunate that I had removed my debit card details following my last membership subscription fiasco. The hacker stole my accrued points from me, DA have refunded this. I am relieved to believe this is the extent of the damage done, nothing else seems untoward. Some sadder news, my son is dying. He has a large brain-stem
